A fund advised by DLE Logistics GmbH has acquired a second property in Jena, Thuringia. The site at Goeschwitzer Strasse 35-37b and Friedrich-Hund-Strasse 3 has a total area of 10,125 sqm. The existing building has a total lettable area of 7,011 sqm and is currently let to various established companies. The seller is LIVOS Group, a logistics/light industrial portfolio holder and residential property developer in Berlin and the surrounding area.

In recent years, the university city of Jena has established itself as a dynamic business location that is gaining importance due to its growing population and the establishment of numerous renowned companies. The high demand for logistics properties in Jena, which is part of the Central German metropolitan region, makes this property an important addition to the DLE Fund’s portfolio.

The location of the acquired logistics property in Jena is characterised by a stable industrial environment and offers an excellent infrastructure. “There are only a few available commercial properties in Jena, which is reflected in the high demand, low vacancy rate, and attractive rental level”, explains Dr. Kilian Mahler, Managing Partner of DLE Logistics. “We are pleased to be able to strengthen our logistics portfolio further with the purchase of this property and continue our successful course”.

Johann Kunz, Managing Director of LIVOS Management GmbH, comments: “We are very pleased with this successful transaction. This confirms our belief that there is a continuing interest in investing in high-quality logistics locations with good transport links. We would like to thank all parties involved for their trusting cooperation.”

The quick connection to the A4 motorway and Erfurt airport provides a direct link to national and European freight traffic. The proximity to the ‘Jena Paradies’ and ‘Jena West’ railway stations underlines the strategic location of the property, which is particularly advantageous for companies that rely on freight transport and access to important logistics networks.

A further highlight is the technical equipment of the warehouses, such as cranes, which offer a wide range of uses far beyond pure storage.
